Shipping, Returns & Refunds

Shipping Policy:

All orders are shipped via DHL or Fedex from our design studio in Tulum, Mexico. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We offer shipping insurance via Route which can be added at checkout. Please note, should you opt out of shipping insurance, we cannot offer replacements or refunds for any lost, stolen or damaged items. 

Shipping within North America:

We offer free shipping on all orders totaling $200 or more within North American (Mexico, USA, Canada). Orders below $200 will be required to pay our standard shipping rate of $19.00.

Shipping Internationally: 

We offer free shipping to Europe on orders totaling $300 or more & free international shipping on orders totaling $350 or more. Standard shipping is calculated at checkout and based on the items in your cart. Upon receiving shipments it is the customer's responsibility to pay the import and customs duties and fees that have incurred as a result of the shipment. 

Processing & Delivery Times

Orders typically ship from our design studio in Tulum, Mexico, in 2-3 business days and typically arrive within their North American destinations in 2-3 business days. Expect longer times for addresses further abroad.

During times of high volume such as sales or collection launches, orders may take up to 5 days to process. We appreciate your patience as we work to get your new ELLECHEMY to you as soon as possible!

Return Policy:

We want you to be completely satisfied with your online purchase. If you change your mind for any reason, we have a 15-day return policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return. Due to our slow fashion business model, each Ellechemy garment takes 20-30 days to create. Yes, it takes 30 days from the start of natural fabric selection, to sewing, to hand-dye processes, and finally blessing with sacred copal smoke before we ship it to you from Mexico! Please consider that many Ellechemy items are one of a kind and made with great care before requesting a return. Perhaps it's in the stars to give it onward as a gift instead!

If you're not satisfied with your product, just make sure it's in original packaging, unworn, undamaged and you've got the receipt or proof of purchase. The cost of return shipping to Mexico is borne by the client.

To start a return, you can contact us at Sales@HouseOfEllechemy. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping address, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. We want you to love every product, however, items sent back to The House of Ellechemy without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. We want you to love every single product so there's a good chance it will be smooth sailing. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. 

Items marked as final sale, samples, and items with a discount of 30% or more are not eligible for return.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. In the natural dye process slight variations in color are natural, and add to the unique one-of-a-kind charm of your Ellechemy.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for our bodysuits and other intimates. As noted above, items marked as final sale, samples, and items with a discount of 30% or more are not eligible for return.

Exchanges

Let's keep it real. The fastest way to ensure you get what you desire most is to have a chat with us beforehand, during the purchasing process! Most of our garments fit size small through large due to elastic bands and loose, easy fit designs.
